My dad is a great writer. I've been trying to get him to join for a while and now that he has tried to he has been waiting for "confirmation" for over a week. He finally tried again and is in the same position. Why would anyone join a website if it is such a hassle. I have searched for an explanation and can't find one. Does anyone know what is going on? This is hopefully a temporary snag but without any explanation from Steemit Inc., why would any new member stick around to keep trying? Very frustrating!
