It is important to think about these things. We live in a time of virtually infinite information at our fingertips so how do we discern fact from fiction? Deceptive tactics have become extremely sophisticated. Most people, I think, are content to find a source or sources of news that they trust, then listen to them and believe what they say. I do this. The problem is it divides everyone into their own echo chamber of opinions, supported by their experts of choice. Everyone has different information. The Facebook, Google, etc. algos exaggerate this phenomenon, continuously showing more of what you like and in the process, confirming and supporting your views. I wonder if this is the culprit of the rise of fundamentalism (including non-religious fundamentalism). I wonder if this has been intentionally exacerbated by power seekers. Please keep writing! :)
