I know that my comment on Hive account@alexanova 's introduction sparked a little controversy, but I did make it clear to her that she was welcome in this community. It was only the fact that the post made the top of the trending list that I found to be promoting a dangerous method.
In spite of my acceptance of adult content on Steemit, I know that there are a fair amount of people who disagree and feel it would damage, if not completely ruin Steemit's reputation.
I believe that I have developed an idea (though I lack the expertise to execute it) on how this issue could be resolved once and for all.
The development of a sister site, perhaps named Creemit.com (literally came up with that in 5 seconds, so don't judge the name as it's not important), where the Steemit source code and algorithm could be duplicated for the purposes of hosting adult content exclusively. Users could post adult based articles and amateur videos, where they would be rewarded by the rest of the community in the form of upvotes--just like on here.
A block chain based porn-site would be the first of it's kind and could exceed the success of even Steemit if executed properly.
With an amateur porn site there is always the danger of illegal content being uploaded, so perhaps an alteration would need to be established allowing things to be removed before becoming permanent on the blockchain.
A discussion would have to be had about whether or not to share the same crypto-currency, as that would mean the daily payouts would have to be shared across both sites, which would dramtically decrease the amount of rewards that content received.
An entirely new crypto-currency, or two if you include SBD could however be created, which would solve that problem for us. As I said, I lack the technical knowledge to bring such an idea into fruition, or I would likely be creating this myself at this very moment. Instead, I thought I would share with the community and see what you guys think of the idea.
Let us know if you think this could work in the comments below and resteem to get more people involved in the discussion.
