There is a lot of confusion I still see with people on choosing 50/50 payout vs 100% post payout. Let me see if I can explain this so people can understand why if your choosing 100% rewards payout your losing out big.
Lets say you have a post payout total of $5.00 and you have your rewards set for that post at 100% payout. Your going to get $5.00 worth of steem power. right now in the current market that is about 0.75 steem . That would be it all said and done.
But if you chose 50/50 payout on that $5.00 post here is what would happen.
You will get 50% in steem power $2.50 which would be about 0.375 in steem power and you would get 2.5 SBD.
those 2.5 SBD would currently be worth about $20.00 so now you made 22.50 on your $5.00 post instead of $5.00.
key note:
SBD is suppose to be the value of a dollar but it is not. Any time SBD is over $1.00 anytime!!! do a 50/50 rewards payout.
anytime SBD is under $1 then choose 100%
I hope this helps people understand all those powering up 100% and not seeing there profits gain as fast as others.
