We're all giggling and counting our money after Hard Fork 19 (For those that don't know, HF19 is what caused your votes to suddenly be worth a lot more starting today. Try voting and you'll see). Understandably, we're all excited about the money we're earning. But let's take a quick pause from counting our own money and use this opportunity, and our new high-powered votes, to do something good! I've been trying to get donation efforts going for a while now, with mediocre success. But today, things are looking much more hopeful. Steemit is the PERFECT place to be gathering donation funds, especially after HF19, because it can be done through community input, without any cost to the community! Wether your vote is worth 20 cents or 5 dollars, you can donate to a good cause without actually paying anything!

I really admire his ability to put that aside for the well being of his dad. I suggest you go over and upvote/resteem his post. In addition, all earnings from this post will be sent to . Let's use this increased voting power to help out a fellow Steemian!
