Hey steemit! We are back here with another update for Steemy! We've been hard at work improving the feature set and stability of both the Android and iOS versions of the app. You can find our changelogs below:
Steemy Android Beta Release 0.2
New Features
Import Key/Login with Key
We have now added the ability to manage your private keys while authenticated with Steemy through the Manage Account Screen found in Settings. This will allow you to tailor the permissions of Steemy to fit your needs.
In addition we have enabled the ability to log in with either your posting or active key, foregoing the need to log in with your master password if you do not wish to do so.
Follow other Users
Follow functionality has been implemented across the app, allowing you to follow/unfollow as well as mute/unmute users. You can find the options in the action bar of the profile screen.
Manage Ignored Users
In addition to the follow functionality, you can now find a list of ignored users in the Manage Account screen.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed behavior of enter key on login screen. Now properly navigates user/pass fields.
- Fixed broken links to follower profiles from profile screen.
- Fixed Nav bar to properly show category list on all screens.
- Open Source Licenses while in the app previously, had not been correctly hooked up. Now they should display properly.
- Stability enhancements for Transaction Signing.
- Author in Discussion now interactive to lead to author profile.
- Fixed crashes due to follower endpoint.
What's New in Steemy iOS v0.3?
New Feature - Login by importing posting/active key. Master password no longer necessary.
New Feature - Transfer STEEM and SBD (requires active key)
Misc. Bug Fixes
Misc. Performance Enhancements
This beta release also lays the foundation for the impending upgrade to Swift 3. Swift 3 requires the most breaking changes seen thus far in the evolution of the Swift language. Xcode 8, as well, breaks nibs and auto layout created in Xcode 7. Both of these upgrades have been intentionally spread over 2-3 releases.
