Yesterday my follower count hit another nice number. This is probably not so good in China where four is considered unlucky as it sounds like the word for death. I don't believe in lucky or unlucky numbers. If happily live at house number 13,but I've worked in a building that skipped that floor number.
The number did drop after I snapped this, but it's likely to go up again. People keep following me. I realise many will never interact, but I value those who do.
Although I may wish people good luck I believe our destiny is a combination of our own choices and random chance. It's just an expression. I don't believe in some 'higher power' controlling things.
Talking of China, they have passed the UK in the Steemit Alexa user stats. Lots more potential growth there. Steemit has one million accounts as of today, but there are billions more possible users out there. It's going to be different here if we even get to a million active users.
