India rising on Steemit

India has now moved well ahead of the UK for visitors to the Steemit site and equalled page views. UK has been in third place for a long time. Germany is not too far behind.

It still concerns me that ranks are falling across some of the big countries here. This is resulting in the overall world rank falling despite getting publicity. Just saw Hive account@andrarchy post on Twitter about this recent story. So more people are find out about Steemit, but can they join up. Any ideas on how long it takes to get a new account authorised now? I have a friend waiting.

Meanwhile the Steem price is holding fairly steady. It's going up and down as other coins do, but it dropped less than other today. I'd love to see it in the top 20, but I can wait. We want a high price based on real usage and not on speculation that can reverse at any moment.

Maybe we will see more news from the Steemit team soon. Hive account@andrarchy is the 'content manager', but he's not posted recently. The community would love more frequent updates, even if it's just to say they are busy.
