If people hear about Steemit and search for it one top results they will get is the Wikipedia page. I saw someone mention that it was out of date, so I just made a couple of edits to the Concept section. I'm not the best at marketing and general writing, so maybe a few people can have a look. You can edit it yourself or just leave suggestions of what should be changed.
You have to be very careful to keep the tone very neutral and not try to look like you are really promoting it. Any such changes are likely to get reverted by moderators. It's good to see that they also deal with vandalism like this that was undone within hours last month.
I'm sure we can improve this page to dispel some of the misapprehensions and encourage people to try using Steemit.
