CONGRATULATIONS
Sometimes it is difficult to cram a huge Congratulations onto such a small slide but I managed to do it.
Huge Congratulations to Ned and the rest of the Development Team on a successful Hard Fork yesterday which once again demonstrates the resilience and strength of the Community.
Over the past few weeks I have been Blogging statistics of the number of Daily Transactions and recently the number of Daily Blogs being posted and it is these statistics that are clearly showing that the Community is growing.
Yesterday saw a reduction in the reward pool which was to be expected as this will now allow a greater scalability of the platform as more users join.
These scalability issues that are being addressed are fundamental to the organic growth of Steemit and though may appear to be brutal at first are the right things to do for its future.
As the recent days, weeks and months have gone on since joining in August of last year my total belief in Steemit has grown stronger every time a fundamental change has occurred.
Nobody said it was going to be a walk in the park. It never is when you are challenging the norm.
However what I do strongly believe in is that if you go against the norm that is when you are most likely to be heavily rewarded in the long term.
For me Steemit is a long term project of 5-7 years and from what I have seen in the first year and the way Community has performed, to say I was impressed would be an understatement.
Once again, a massive Congratulations to Ned and the rest of the Development Team for a successful day yesterday and again I apologise for having to cram such a big Congratulations on to a small slide.
Thanks again for reading.
