The first week on steemit you get to hear a lot of new words :
Hard fork 19 , upvote , resteem and voting power and then the different type of currencies , SP , SBD , BTC etc etc .
As if everyone know this already no explanation how things work
If you want to make this platform for more users , it needs to become way more user friendly then it is today.
A specially the first week felt very uncomfortable , and that is for someone that worked and played with computers since 1979 very strange. I guess it could be a point that scares people away after creating an account.
Then you see a lot of people posting content as if it was there own , i'm very glad that i discovered 
With the help of google image search and Tineye.com , i've been able to report a lot of people that try to make money the wrong way. Good news is that Steemcleaners reward people for reporting don't expect a company car but it's about the gesture and not about the money.
The communities on discord , steemit.chat and on slack.com can help people out very well unfortunately steemit doesn't cover this option for groups or messenger , so you have to use external options .
Then the look of "timeline" / "wall " you have to select a post on the title and a shitty Thumb , people at busy.org made a nice solution that doesn't make your photographs look like shit in a thumbnail.
A specially for people that come from FB will love the busy.org layout , not sure how safe it is to login there with your steemit account, but you can still look :)
Looking forward to changes that the developers might bring , it has potential but i think that after each patch / fork all witness votes should be reset , why ? because with patch 19.1 it took way to long for most witnesses to upgrade, the only way you can force them to stay on top of things is if you reset the votes every know and then.
Copyright violations is another thing that bothers me , seeing other people making money from other peoples work without permission to use the content , or even without mentioning the complete source , and the people that vote for it really should learn to understand that they are motivating a thief to steel even more.
That is also why i kind of hate the upvote bots , they blindly upvote without checking the content they vote for , for 1sbd they already look the other way , and some bots are even free of charge. if those bots could use the DB from steemcleaners and cheetah they wouldn't vote so much for stolen content ;)
And finally another change i would like to see is that if you Mute someone because they misbehave they can still interact with your posts only you won't see it , there should be a BLOCK option to make sure that people can't interact with your posts.
auto reply bots and other annoying accounts if muted by enough people should lose reputation so they can't comment anymore on posts . Now the only option is to down vote them at cost of voting power , that could be better used to motivate new people on steemit.
o well it looks like this is my longest post so far , don't expect me to write this kind of things on daily base :)
