Plenty of us are struggling not only on Steemit but in real life, family, children career etc. Not earning much on Steemit? It's not the end of the world yet. Like what I've said on my previous blog. I crawled when I started it here. I'm still crawling and learning.
In my story the "THE LOST BUG IN THE STEEMIAN FOREST." CLICK HERE It was my journey as a lost little bug confused, hungry and homeless. Along the way, some Big Bears, guided me and supported me. The Steeamin Forest is not perfect, now and then you will encounter a lot of drama's. It's normal I guess. Sometimes you feel behind, alone, lost, no friends, no family, no community to support you. BE PREPARED!!
Steemit is like a a roller coaster. They ride with you, sit beside you, scream, laugh, make you go around and around, sometimes you want it to stop and get off. And then you try again until you throw up. Enjoy the ride because this is only the beginning. It's not easy. All you need is determination, because YOU BELONG HERE!!!!
Money! money $$$$ Power! More POWER AND MORE $$$!! Yeah everybody needs money. But Steemit is not all about money. If you think that, then you won't survive that long. Some get lucky, others not. But I'm sure they work really hard on it.
"STEEMIT IS NOT A SPRINT BUT A MARATHON."
GET INVOLVED
Don't get stuck with one community. If your community is supporting you then stay as long as you're happy. But if not, don't feel bad though it is very painful. We all have that cry and agony. Unfair contribution and favoritism, abuse of power it's everywhere. Try to move on and focus more on your own blog and not the wallet of others. Explore and experiment what works and doesn't work.
GENUINE FRIENDSHIP
I invited my friends, family, neighbors to join here, thinking that we could support each other, some came but most of them left. They couldn't stay any longer. You will survive on Steemit by making real friends, some are fake and some are not. Jealousy and envy are always there. Use it in a good way to improve your crafts.
YOU ARE UNIQUE
Everybody has talent and special charms.
KEEP GOING
Even you only have zero income. I was jumping when I earned 2 cents, sometimes "bokya"means zero, nada,, nothing. But keep blogging even you feel like giving up.
TALENT TO BE DISCOVERED
Believe me, I'm sure you have more and a lot more to be discovered. You haven't maybe discover it yet. "Oh I'm not a blogger" me too "I'm "jologs". (means chessy lol) Start believing in yourself. How are you gonna know if you haven't try it?
SHINE AND STAY WITH THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE
We all have this kind of frustrations, sometimes we lose our control and the positivity because of the negative vibes around. Stay motivated. Hang out and laugh with your new friends and encourage one another.
I'm half year on Steemit and still a newbie. I dont know everything. I'm only sharing my experience with you. Below is my article "My Steemian SURVIVAL KIT". I want to share it with you again. I met lots of wonderful newbies these days and I'm trying to help them in a small way. Papa Bear started a #gratefulvibes community and a NEW COMER SPOTLIGHT SECTION on his blog ATTITUDE AND GRATITUDE. Feel free to visit, ask or comment. He's an amazing guy with a big heart like a WHALE!
How I survive On Steemit And Still Surviving.
1. Be yourself. Never imitate somebody. You are unique.
2. Share from your heart. Share your talents.
Can you cook? Can you sing? Dance, can you write?
3. Love what you do. You won't go wrong.
If you love your work, you don't feel like it's work.
4. Leave a real comments from your heart, people can feel if you're copying and pasting a comment.
5. Be consistent, post regularly if you can.
6. Do not force yourself to be successful right away.
7. Avoid using "follow me back" or advertise your posts on the blogs of others especially if it's not related to the topic. Respect the author. (kung magkaibigan kayo ok lang kasi kilala mo)
8. Do not get hurt if they don't follow you back. You can unfollow them if you want, it's your choice.
9. Develop your crafts. Learn to count your blessings instead of counting the blessings of others.
10. You don't get noticed? It's painful but that's fine. Don't rush.
11. Be grateful for whatever earnings you've got.
12. Do not compare yourself to other Steemians. This is a trap!
13. Focus on your wall/blog.
14. Respect the elders, old Steemians who have been here for a long time.
15. Do not get jealous or envy others. If you are, that's ok but do it in a positive way by improving your skills. Again this is a TRAP because you become focused on them, not on your own blog.
16. Don't give up. Keep trying.
17. Make friends, lots of friends. I met alot of funny, loving and crazy friends:) I'm surviving because of them lols
I'm truly grateful for this.
