This has gone far enough.
You should find better things to do than try start witch hunts based on incomplete and defamatory information. I devote the large majority of votes to my friends and family who happen to come from a country (China) where Crypto is quickly becoming incredibly difficult to use. Yet, the value of a platform which gives them a voice and freedom from oppressive regimes is something I will continue to push, not just to my friends and family, but people all over China as well as the developing world at large. Countless people have joined Steemit because of my efforts over the last 1.5 years, and even more people who are now inspired to write travel and food blogs from seeing my blogs as an example.
I will support the people who have decide to take up steemit because it is their only avenue for expressing themselves freely. This is an intangible value which even with my full vote cannot be measured or felt in the short term. Rather, the rippling effect of being able to remain free to share, participate and earn will collectively contribute to a movement freeing a nation of people from oppression and censorship.
Those of you who insist on continuing the witch hunt by parading higher moral fibre whilst turning an eye to actual abuse, may I remind you that you are harming my friends, family and other people whom I support because you simply do not know the other half of the story. It is far easier for you to complain at the apparent injustice and go the route of ad hominem, completely forgetting the fact that for every bit of extra reward earned by one person, another has to compromise. This is not a socialist platform, and it never will be, please do not perceive the fact that rewards going to some people mean that if that were not the case, the rewards would be coming to you. It simply doesn't work like that.
Friends, family - including my own parents, uncles, aunties have contributed what I deem to be valuable, and I am acting within the rules set forth by the protocol by voting for them. A lot of the issues here seem to be directed at the fact that my friends and family send their earnings to a single place to cash out, how is that illegal? How is it fraudulent? How is it wrong that a family member cashes out the crypto on behalf of people in a country where crypto has pretty much been outlawed and the three largest crypto exchanges have now been shut down with more oppression to come?
Are you judging their content at all? Or are you just jealous that you are not a close friend or family member and that voting for friends and family is illegal and fraudulent on this platform? (It's not) Because should you want to exercise such a high standard of morality, then you surely have better cases to be worried about than me and my circle of friends and family who contribute real content and not just 4 word comments and self voted n number of times per day. If you want a good look at an example of that, then take a look at :
I suppose your grandiose accusations of grand theft and fraud on my part despite my explanations are some how in your mind still worth attacking, and likely boil down to the fact that you probably just don't like me for whatever reason, and have chosen to go the selective bully route because you probably feel cheated at the fact that I've never voted for you. Unlike other stake holders with considerable SP, I have never thrown downvotes around or threatened them, and you probably feel comforted by that making me an even easier target.
Over a year ago, I met Ned and invited him to dinner along with my mother in Hong Kong. He recommended that I get her and the rest of my family to join Steemit. She is one of the first people from my circle to join, and has been contributing diligently for over a year. She along with the rest of our friends and family have done nothing wrong and by launching your attack on them, you are in effect saying you think people who write 500+ words often in two languages and post original images similar to the kind that I do, do not deserve their rewards whilst people who write 4 letter comments do. It's so easy to turn a blind eye sometimes but I guess as they say : a drowning man will clutch at straws. Frankly, if you directed your energy into writing something of my liking, like the many other people who you haven't listed which I support, then I would still consider upvoting you. As it stands, false defamatory posts painting an incomplete picture of the situation will not attract my attention, and you vehemently asserting incorrect facts will not, and do not, make them true.
