Well, thats not bad, everyone wants that their posts make good money. But there are few ways that are being adapted by steemit community.
Like, using bots to upvote your post. In this method, what you do is that you send some sbd to some whales and they in return give your percentage of their upvote.
Now i have been doing that and what i realized is that you end up loosing your sbd to these whales.
These whales are actually sharks who just eat your sbd and give you in return very little.
What happens is that if you are very careful and then select good timing for upvoting your post through these bots, even then, the profit would be something like this.
Using 10 SBD for upvote
Approximate calculations :-
Upvote post worth = $ 15
Curation reward = $ 3.75 (taken away from the post and also given to the bots for comments and upvotes )
Author reward = $ 11.25
Half sbd / Half steempower = $11.25 / 2 = $ 5.6 SBD and 1.7 steempower
After using 10 SBD you get around 5.6 SBD in return.
I have done these calculations after doing a lot of experiments. You can check for yourself.
These steemit whales wants more and more people to join steemit but at the same time they don't want you to grow or atleast don't let you grow. They'll just take your SBD and will give a drop or two for that.
