Before you start downvoting this post, please hear me out. I don’t not wish to harm anyone by this post. I wish for a means to the end of this feud- and I’m not alone.

I understand and support the betterment of reward distribution and free speech but when does it cross the line?

I’ve been here on the Steemit platform about 6 weeks. Up until, I have had nothing but great things to say on its behalf. It’s certainly had it’s expected ups and downs but there’s some things I never thought I’d see...

Last night I came across one of Hive account@haejin’s “Technical Analysis” posts. I read the post and had something occur to me. I decided to make a comment below the post. Let me preface this by saying that I’m didn’t even give Hive account@haejin an upvote in the post and here’s why:

I would say that I’m a “good commenter” here on Steemit. I always read the posts in their entirety and respond constructively or at least in a way that is entertaining. With that being said, I’ve tried to ask questions to Hive account@haejin. I’ve tried to interact with him and have seen others do so also...but to no avail.

He unfortunately, rarely comments on his posts and interacts with his readers. This is disheartening coming from a person who makes a ton of money here on Steemit because of all his readers. It would be nice if he would show a little more appreciation.

This however, does not warrant what Hive account@berniesanders is doing.

After making a comment with a video game gif that reminded me of the post, I received what I believe to be my first ever “flag”. This was by 14 or so of the Hive account@berniesanders bot crusade.

I understand what Hive account@berniesanders is trying to do regarding Hive account@haejin’s post. It appears that he wants some reform.. and frankly so do I.

Again- however, I didn’t deserve this downvote and every other person who commented and is commenting on his posts do not deserve this also.

This is destroying the free feeling that Steemit brings. It’s corupting the atmosphere and good name of a platform that is worth more than spamming downvotes.

And by whom?

A person who is also “raping” the reward pool and making plenty of money on the drama that has been stirred up...

Hive account@haejin might be selfishly making money on posts that take him very little time but how different is this from Hive account@berniesanders.

At least Hive account@haejin is not being outwardly malicious, vindictive and vulgar.

This isn’t what I thought Steemit would be all about. And frankly, it’s not.

There’s plenty of good along with the bad, but my reputation doesn’t need messed up for expressing myself the way everyone else is.

Sure, Hive account@berniesanders is expressing himself too, but this has gone too far.

Let’s fix this

So obviously Hive account@berniesanders and Hive account@haejin both have enough power to keep this feud going for a while. They both have the ability to be seen and have the backing of several other Steemians.

It’s time to at least mediate some kind of truce or common ground to stand on.

This starts with us but there’s only so much we can do..

If the witnesses are here to help make Steemit a better place, let’s start by cleaning up shop.

Can we sit down with these two and come up with an agreement?

If not, What CAN we do?

At this point, I’m afraid to support Hive account@haejin in any capacity with the fear of ruining my reputation and having to start over...
