I have been watching the plummet of the bear market in regards to Bitcoin and other crypto-coins, especially here on Steemit and it's effect on my wallet.
I have heard a whole heap of 'doom and gloom' and a lot of panic. I've seen people upload videos of themselves eating pot noodles because they invested their entire mortgage into crypto currency hoping for it to go up in value again.
I've seen a lot of charts and the picture doesn't look good in the short term.
So, why am I not fussed? It's because I looked at the LONG TERM charts and there was a point where crypto currencies were where they are now. There is a natural ebb and flow to these things.
Straight logic: You have bought an asset. You own the asset. The asset goes up and down in value.
But you only lose money when you either buy more of an asset, or you sell the asset lower than you paid for it.
Also, an asset is only worth something is willing to pay for it. So, think long term.
Invest in crytpo at this price and hold onto it. Maybe hold off on powering up your account because it takes so long to power down again, but you can always sell Steem and SBD at any point.
Many people have invested in crypto and then forgotten about it.
