Dear Steemcleaners,

Here is my rant:

I posted this yesterday - https://steemit.com/minergate/@throughtheglass/minergate
and while, I admit, it's not a great creative achievement, I was trying to give an honest insight into this new thing I expect to gain a lot of popularity in coming months, because I honestly think it's kinda shitty and shouldn't really be used by many people. I said as much in my review.

But since I put a clearly acknowledged affiliate link at the bottom of the page, I got yelled at by Hive account@steemcleaners, the self proclaimed sheriff of this platform which is supposedly based on free expression.

Steem is bullshit. If you don't see it yet, it's because you're still hoping for some crumbs to fall from the lips of the people who claimed this network a year ago.

I honestly think that Steem is at best a stepping stone to something that is actually fair and encouraging free speech.

I'm frustrated that an honest review of something apparently counts as spam when you attach an affiliate link.

Hive account@steemcleaners, if you're going to be the self-proclaimed police of this network, put your rules on the sign up page or let people opt into your "pristine vision" of how you think the world should be.

If anyone reads this, you might be like, "dude, why you so pissed?"
Because there are very negative patterns that have emerged in global society lately, and this is a continuation of movement toward centralized control, and leaving true freedom in the hands of whoever makes the fucking rules.
