Setting Up A New Steemit Account

Howdy folks. How many of you have recently tried to set up a new Steemit account? How many of you think it is a real pain in the ASS? My roommate started the process on July 7th and is STILL waiting.

Now she is saying to me "What is the point anymore?" She wants to know why she should even bother with it anymore. She said she is giving it one more week and then will have nothing to do with it.

I want to help her get an account set up quickly using Hive account@anonsteem's service but it will cost 10 steem. I currently have about 6 and was hoping that somebody could loan me the other 4. If you look at my blog you will see that I should have enough payments coming in to get you paid back within 10 days to 2 weeks.
