So after my rant and a pretty unfriendly comment left on one of his posts Peter the not so Great decides that it would be a good idea to include some belittling, blaming the the victim (although that is really to strong a word but I can't find a better one right now), playing the victim and refuting any responsibility for his actions in his backhanded apology.
These tactics are commonly used by a certain type of abusers, both male and female, although it is more common amongst men as society applauds them for it . Woman tend to back down from behaviour like this, as we are told to stand our ground shows us to be "to emotional " giving us the idea that it makes us lesser creatures. Men on the the other hand are applauded for not taking shit. Sorry Peter this wolf does not care how you label her nor do your attempts at telling me how my legitimate concerns amuse you! Sorry to disappoint you, take Sasha" the bird, Sonia the duck, and "Ivan" the cat back to grandfather you need to learn manners!
So you other readers might ask yourselves what the big deal is. Let me give you a short recap. Peter and his band of merry men and women have been spamming people with post links over the memo section of our wallets. I received my first yesterday and decided to ignore it. Then today I received a second from another person connected to him. At this point I was more than annoyed. For several reasons- even though these memo's were worded in the fake polite lingo of every door to door salesman, pasting their post link in my private space was an unacceptable breach. As I said before it is the equivalent of having someone come into your home and spray paint something on your walls. In our later debates on the matter homeboy refused to even acknowledge my legitimate pointer to the fact that all he needed to do is to ask people in advance if they would like to be included in their link sharing. A simple polite way to not put off people or further erode our platform. His only comment was a condescending "you could have simply told me to stop"
No Motherfucker WRONG! You don't go into someone's home and shit on their carpet and then expect "a please stop defecating in my home! WTF is wrong with you? Just be a grownup, have some impulse control and don't shit on the carpet in the first place! I don't know you, if we ever had a conversation I do not remember it, so what gives you the idea you have the right to just do as you please and I just have to suck it up and then ask you to stop(preferably nicely) when you already have your hand up my knickers - No SIR NO! You will get bludgeoned with a dead fish or something equally unpleasant!
Second of all and most importantly these unsolicited advances and pleas for attention will attract copycats. I know you said you disagree with everything I said, but sugarpuff everything I have said over the last 1.5 years i have been on this forum, when it comes on damaging behaviour to the platform, has come true one way or another.Just one example- I said that bidbots and upvote bots would impact the platform negatively and the negative impact exceeded even my predictions. Between the rewardpool rapists and people no longer paying attention to each others posts, because they think their upvote bots absolve them of real engagement, this platform (once bursting out the seams with potentia )has become a virtual ghost town and a joke. For someone who put her life blood into this place it hurts to look at it and people like you just piss me off.
Not because you felt the need to boost your fragile ego by telling me 3 times how I make you smile, not because you went wailing to a commenter on my post on how you are a good person implying how misunderstood you are poor little you, not for your low brow attempt on trying to convince me that being upset at your behaviour makes me a hypocrite because I champion freedom of expression, not even for pooping on my carpet and trying to tell me it was perfectly ok and it was my job to housetrain you. (I have no problems house training you btw. but I charge 500$ -700$ an hour for the likes of that and you will wear a shock collar!) - no what pisses me off is that you do not see how people are going to follow your lead, like the bidbots and upvote bots did with each other, and soon our memo sections will be unusable. Turned from a tool to help us into a tool of annoyance and more spam.
Do you listen to the people on discord the ex stemians who left because of spam, and shitposts and bidbots ect. ect. You profess to want to help this place with these tactics but in truth you are tanking it further and all for ego or lazyness or both. Drafting a message asking people if they would like to be included in your lists is not only polite but also creates a culture of dialogue and consent. So no, your half ass apology really does not mean anything and though I appreciate you taking me off of your lists (which I should have not been in anyway ) it does not change the fact that the way you are doing this will still cause damage to the forum even if you now avoid my nice plush 1500 century carpet. I mean look at the massive outgoing spam from you wallet, holy bovine!
And yes you have so much more clout than I with your fat account and follower count but that is just the point people are going to follow your lead and it sucks! To quote the uncle of yet another Peter "with great power comes great responsibility" and you are making light of the mess you are making. And finally no matter how much what I say amuses you (or you feign amusement to show non existent superiority) in the end it does not make you right in what you are doing nor what I am saying wrong.
