Is Steemit slowly dying ?

I was looking at steemit statistics :

New active users: went from 959 (27th october) to 151 (now)
Number of posts is declining fast
There are more and more bots posting, voting, commenting... (spamming?)

I am kinda worried here, that this great idea will be a fail...

1. Is steemit dying ?
2. Are those bots commenting/voting a cancer ?
