I do agree with your worries of what might come to be. I've only recently started truly being in this community just hours before the hardfork (I had no idea of it then) but in the days that followed, I've noticed people were less engaging and less giving. What bothered me was when I've read a post about people commenting on a post/article, upvoting their own comments but not the article itself. I cant remember exactly what I commented but it was along the line of "it could be only a few people and not a trend" but in a matter of days, I think I might actually have to eat my words because it's becoming more prevalent. I know the reward side is a big draw but I really liked the other side too where people engaged more and didnt solely focus on the earnings. (Then again, I still have more exploring to do so hopefully, it's not as bad) Sorry for the long comment.
