There are many tutorials and guides on how to be a writer here on the platform but they are lacking the most important part that people overall abuse.
Don't push yourself
That's right. The battle royale for great content is being upped every day and people are pushing hard to bring good content to the platform, being stimulated by the payouts.
Creative writing requires a focused mind. It requires being focused on what you are writing rather than the payouts and the statistics you will gain.
If we focus on the payout and the statistics we always have certain expectations, weighting our progress and making some stupid calculations about our growth, therefore without knowing it we will put more effort in research rather than writing good quality materials and we won't even know it.
Be grateful
Rather than being disappointed, be grateful for everything. You might have spent hours writing something hoping it would make a fortune but at the end it trends for 10c and you get discouraged and de-stimulated to write anything else after.
Rather look how that article made you a follower that will give you 10c on your next release, and you might find someone else to support you on the next one, one day reaching where you want to be.
Writing should bring you joy, not the payouts.
Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed, rather you will value every small bit of support you receive.
