Hey Steemians,
I'm writing this post because my last post got deleted, and on top of it, my main display picture wasn't showing up in the feed. It was just a grey box! I don't know about you guys, but when I'm looking through the feed and I don't see a picture, I'm less likely to open that post, so I'm thinking that others might think the same.

WAS YOUR POST DELETED?
Tip #1. Copy the raw text of your post just before you hit "Post." I should've done this very thing this morning with my post. I've only had my posts get deleted 2-3 times, but I spend a good amount of time writing my posts, so it's annoying when this happens. If your post gets deleted, you have the whole raw text copied to your clipboard. Another option would be to copy it and save it in a Word document, in case you need to copy something else between posting again.
DISPLAY PICTURE NOT SHOWING UP?
If your main display image doesn't show up in your "Blog" section, it's probably not showing up in other people's feeds. I had my wife check her phone and it seemed that on mobile devices, it will show up, but on laptops it won't sometimes. There are a few things I do to troubleshoot this:
Tip #1. If you're using a filter for the picture, revert it back to original picture. This seems to work for me 95% of the time.
Tip #2. If your picture is above 2 MB in size, resize it to a smaller size.
Tip #3. Use https://postimages.org/ to post your picture, and then take the link that says "Enlace directo" (direct link). This website just helped me out greatly when I had the grey box of shame as a display picture for my last post.
I really hope this helps someone, hopefully many people.
