Steem. Market
I originally had the idea for Steem.Market over a year ago and have been sitting on the domain, until now, waiting for the right time to build out the site. With the growing number of Steemians with artistic abilities and real world products for sale I think the time is right. I am currently building the site at https://steem.market.
The site is currently being designed and developed so please do not sign up or attempt to list any products yet. I just want to get the word out so people know it is coming and can keep an eye on the progress. I am hoping to have it fully operational within a few weeks.
What will it do?
SteemMarket will
* Allow any Steemian to sign up and sell their real world products or digital products and get paid in Crypto or Fiat currency at a reasonable exchange fee. SteemMarket will not charge other Steemians to sell, only to deposit their payments. Fees will only be what we are charged.
* Allow Steemians more exposure for their products, photography and art. I will heavily promote SteemMarket and drive traffic to your products, photography and art.
* Support payments of 65+ cryptocurrencies. Site will not be accepting any FIAT currency, only cryptocurrencies but I will transfer payments to you in FIAT if you desire.
* Offer Gift Certificates you can purchase for yourself or others for any products, photography or art work sold on SteemMarket.
* Offer an Affiliate Program so that referring members earn money off sales (currently 5%) they bring to SteemMarket.
* Will feature numerous categories for Products, Photography, Artwork, Services, Rental(s) and more
* Will have a live auction feature (in the near future) so you can get the highest price for your products, photography and art.
* Make it easy for any Steemian to sell their products, art and photography.
Who can join?
Any member of Steemit or the Internet can join the site. Membership will always be free. Listing your products, photography, art for sale will always be free. You will only ever pay any fees when you "cash out" your earnings and those will only be what SteemMarket is charged in transaction fees to pay you.
What future plans do you have for SteemMarket?
Once the initial site is completed and operational, SteemMarket will expand from IRL Products, Photography and Artwork to also include:
* Services - you can sell yourself (contract) for any kind of service imaginable and get paid in Cryptocurrency.
* Rental(s) - got a place for rent (home, cabin, rv, business, etc.) or anything else you want to rent out like a vehicle, boat, atv, motorcycle, tools, etc. then this will be for you.
* Couchsurfing - got a spare room/bed you want to let fellow Steemians crash on as they travel? Then this will be for you!
More categories and features will be added as user demand increases to ask for them.
