So I am relatively new to Crypto-currencies and to buying/trading/owning them. However, as a long time member of Reddit and Voat, I have been aware of them for years. I followed Jackson Palmer (Hive account@ummjackson) before I joined Steemit and I am so happy that he joined our little community that:

The Contest:

It is simple really, there will be 10 prizes in total.

1. First Place: 500,000 Doge
2. Second Place: 250,000 Doge
3. Third Place: 125,000 Doge
4. Forth Place: 75,000 Doge
5. Fifth Place: 50,000 Doge

The Rules:

1. In the comments below leave the following information:
   • How long you have been a Steemian!
   • What brought you to Steemit.com!
   • Why you think you should Win some "much awesome" Doge!
   • What you plan on doing with your prize, should you win!
   • Your Doge Coin Wallet Address! You can get one free at Bittrex
2. Failure to provide ALL 5 answers (above) will eliminate you from the contest.
3. At time of first payout, the 5 highest voted comments (that include all 5 answers) will be the winners! This is the 5 comments with the MOST VOTES - However, if I see what looks like a bot brigade voting you I will disqualify your entry....gotta be fair to the Doge!
4. Payouts may will be sent as soon as possible (within 48 hours) - but I am not responsible if they get lost in transit or you fudged up and gave an invalid Wallet address or provided a non-Doge wallet address - SO DOUBLE CHECK and make sure it is right!

Additional Prizes (Steem Dollars) - Half of the Steem Dollars made at 1st payout will go into a prize pool and be awarded as follows:

1. Sixth Place: 50% of the SBD Prize Pool
2. Seventh Place: 25% of the SBD Prize Pool
3. Eighth Place: 15% of the SBD Prize Pool
4. Ninth Place: 7.5% of the SBD Prize Pool
5. Tenth Place: 2.5% of the SBD Prize Pool

The Rules are the same for the SBD Prizes as for the Doge Prizes except I will consider those who did not provide a Doge Wallet address as valid entries for the SBD Prizes.

Based on the 1st Payout of this post, the SBD Prize Pool will increase from 50% to:

1. 60% if the Payout exceeds $1,000 USD
2. 70% if the Payout exceeds $2,500 USD
3. 80% if the Payout exceeds $5,000 USD
4. 90% if the Payout exceeds $10,000 USD
