First let me say, this is not a post meant to "toot my own horn"....sadly I am not flexible enough to do that.

I joined Steemit almost a month ago now and I read and studied a lot to learn all I could about this new Platform. In doing so I got very active in the Slack channel and now over at Steem.Chat. It didn't take long before people started asking me questions and I started giving out words of advise to other users who where thinking of quitting Steemit. Like my friend who is now very successful and I hope I had a small role to play in that.
Now here is the point I am trying to make.
Everyone who has learned anything while on Steemit or Made Money on Steemit should be trying to actively help #newmembers and #strugglingmembers. It is not only the right thing to do, but it helps the Steemit Community as a whole and may even help you personally at some point.
There is room enough in the Steemit Universe for all different kinds of people, writers, thoughts and beliefs and by sharing our knowledge and help with others we grow as a community and maybe even will have an impact outside of Steemit as a result.
