Dear Steemians,
Today I want to discuss some service on Steemit that you might have encounter: Resteem Bots/Services.
I will explain Why I think using these services is as good as throwing your money in the trash can.
This service is usally provided by "big accounts" in terms of followers. These accounts usally ask you to follow them for at least a couple of hours before using the service.
Why you shouldn't use it
- A lot of followers but a few are active ones
- Most of these followers are new accounts or minnows trying to make their way to the top. As your account grows in value and content, you tend to move away from these services as you understands it does not create value
- This service is spamming you very strongly and prevents you from engaging in REAL relationships with other Steemians. By following even one of these accounts you will have at least 30-50 resteems per hour
- It is not financially attractive. According to my experience; Even if you pay 0.05 SBD for example you almost never
What you should do instead
- Use other services as

,
,
. It will still cost you SBD but you will usually get an upvote worth more than your transfer. In addition it could help you to make it to the "Hot" Section and be noticed
- Since you listened to me and not using Resteem Services anymore, you should have a cleaner Feed and therefore you should try to engage on other author's posts. If someone is writing on a topic that you also wrote on, you should engage discussion and you might tell them to check-out your post.
- You should try to join a Community. I am part of #thealliance but you have many more Teamaustralia, francosteemvotes... You will have people you daily share with and who might be more enclined to vote on your posts.
- You should also join Discord or Steemit.chat channels to talk to your community and meet new people
- Finally, Creating Good Content is the best way to be noticed. I can only encourage you to do so on a daily basis. Your followers will then be used to read your content everyday and you will have a better chance to have upvotes
I understand that some of these Resteem Services can be upset about my post but this is only my personal experience.
