What Is A Steemit Strategy
A Steemit strategy is a plan that details how you are going to find time to create content, post blogs and engage with others. It doesn't have to be a formal plan that you type out and make a presentation using Power Point, but having a good strategy can keep you focused on growing on Steemit and not just being on Steemit.
Content Strategy
After a couple of weeks on Steemit, you have probably found a niche or two that you want to focus on. The knowledge you know can only last so long, so start coming up with ideas on how to learn new things to pass on through your blogs. That can be watching YouTube videos, reading blogs, taking the time to go out and photograph a historic place or even remembering to take pictures for Steemit while you are at the zoo with the family.
Coming up with a strategy to not only post content but create content is very important to your long-term success. Knowing how you are going to come up with new things to share can save you time. Look for great blogs to write that come out of your daily activities. If you learned something new at work that might be valuable to some Steemonians, then use that, but don't only rely on that. Get out and experience new things and share them with us.
Comment Strategy
You don't want to only come to Steemit and blog and leave. There are a ton of great Steemonians and if you take the time to support them you will see more support fall your way. Find people you like and respect and make sure you visit them every couple of days to read and upvote their stuff.
Find some time to just browse through the trending or hot feeds for new people that might be great to read and follow, but make sure you carve out time for the people that you really respect and the people that offer you the most support.
Voting Strategy
Your voting power is something you don't have to worry about when you are first starting, but as you grow you will want to take more control over it. You don't want you voting power to drop too low, but you also don't want to be so stingy that you miss some great opportunities for curation rewards.
Figure out a good strategy and determine what kind of people and comments do you want to give 100% too. What does that mean to you? For me, I try to vote a little something for everyone that comments on my stuff, but that can get hard sometimes. If people provide great blogs that I find helpful, I'll upvote 100% and the same for comments. If I appreciate people taking their time to reply I'll try to vote to say thank you. That works for me, but figure out what works for you. Don't just vote haphazardly, but figure out a strategy.

Steemit success depends on a lot of things, but if you are serious about being successful on Steemit, then you will have to put in the work. Working with a plan and strategy will make it easier to reach your goals.
Today's Question
What strategy do you use to come up with content to share?
The best comments will be 100% upvoted and added to the eBook for 30 Days of Steemit Success.
Thank you for reading Day 16: Steemit Strategy. This blog is part of a project that @dragosroua and @alexvan are supporting. I am deeply appreciative of their support for my project. The 30 Days of Steemit Success will be a series of blogs posted daily on Steemit to help new Steemonians. All of the blogs will be put together to create an eBook that will be available for download in October for all Steemonians for free.
To my followers, you are the melody to my Steemit lyrics.
