There is something brewing in the belly of the Steemit community and it is slowly giving Steemonians a thought that society would think crazy. A desire we keep classified. For our eyes only.
With $3 Steem and $8 SBD, there is something possible for many Steemonians that they dare not speak about. Something they deeply desire, but don't fully allow themselves to think about...
Writing on Steemit full-time. Using Steemit to pay all the bills.
There I said it. Am I alone? We can't tell our friends and colleagues because they just don't understand... yet. Society says we need a job... You can't just make money on the Internet. Crypto is a ponzi-scheme. Most of the people will laugh at me and think I'm playing in the dark web and doing weird things with Bitcoin, so I keep my dark little secret to myself.
For me, it is something that I think about often. Being a full time Steemonian would require at least 8 or so hours a day engaging with people and researching and posting content.
If the prices stay the way they are, a person that makes a post and receives around $10 on Steemit, they will get about 5 SBD and some SP. The total value is something like $60. If that person was to post 4 blogs a day then they would make around $200 liquid a day. That is $1,400 a week or $5,200 a month. If you take it all out and save $2,000 a month for taxes you could walk away with $3,200 a month. I know that would pay my family's bills.
That doesn't count the extra money you can make just by giving good thoughtful replies to people.
Working as a full time Steemonian is a real possibility for a lot of people here.
I think we need some average full time Steemonians. They will work hard to add to the community because their livelihood will depend on it. Now, these people are not making a killing and it will be a lot of work, but over time there is real possibility of advancement.
If the price of Steem and SBD double, then anyone making over $5 on posts could really look at going full time. The possibilities are endless with what one could do with Steemit if they had a little foundation.
For me, I'm working towards it. The reason this is my little dark secret is because I have not told anyone that I would love to be a full-time Steemonian. I'm not going to beg for votes and ask whales to support. I'm just going to keep growing organically and keep my little Steemit secret... for now.
