It would be great if post could receive voting support beyond 7 days.
I wonder if it would be possible for posts to remain eligible for voting support beyond 7 days? My thinking is as follows:
We live in an information age and the things we are creating here for the blockchain are in some ways timeless as the blockchain is the record for all time as far as I know. I suppose it's possible if the internet got shutdown there would be no access to reading the blockchain records. However, I regard post's like "digital assets" in a way as the content is there forever. It would be cool from my perspective if and when I come across a post some months later after it was created that I can send an upvote of support to the content creator.
My thinking about the voting system expands like this:
Maybe there could be a post pay out window of 7 days like it is now....and then after 7 days...it turns into a monthly payout window....or maybe it just starts a new 7 day window and cycle...so it's an ongoing thing. Obviously older posts don't necessarily get as much attention as when it is new...but a good post in many instances is some what timeless. It is my opinion that it would be quite cool if you have this great timeless post that it's possibilities are open ended in terms of receiving support from new viewership.
Maybe it's not technically possible...but I question that: maybe there is in fact a way - an adjustment could perhaps be made?
