I've been following the Cryptocurrency/Blockchain space for 5 years and let me tell you when I first heard of Steem and seen the Steemit website in action, I was convince that this would be the next big thing... Killer app? This is going to blow Bitcoin away and leave it in a dusty trail. You see Steemit will go viral because it is revolutionary on every level and for the first time posts are incentivized giving back power to the average user.
Let me give you an example of why it will go viral.
Joe blow is an average guy who loves to blog... he has a lot of interesting material, but what does his post give him?? maybe, some extra publicity, more followers? Until now, Joe was not able to capitalize on his work, but instead made corporations rich.
Times have changed and with Steemit, Joe can now earn income on interesting content. Joe realizes the potential and wants to get the word out to as many people as possible... he promotes his post through the use of social media so that he can create even greater returns on this work. By Sharing, he is introducing his followers to this new platform and in doing so create more awareness and interest.
Joe's followers think that this is a really great idea and decide to join the network. They see potential and start writing their own interesting content. They start sharing because they also want returns on their posts completing the Steemit viral cycle.
Now this is where i come in and i am an investor. I've bought Steem through exchanges and I want to enhance and promote the site as much as i possibly can. I want Steemit to succeed, period!!! Why?? because i like investments that make me money.
Sure Steemit will have it's growing pains like it has with the July hack, but the developers are quick and responsive . They will become stronger and more resilient over time, after all Blockchain tech is relatively new.
As users of the Steemit platform we want to post and make money... who doesn't??? So to make more money I want to suggest a few upgrades including...
- 1. Social media icons so that i can share Steemit posts with all of my friends.
- 2. An administrative area with various types of secondary authentication that I can include to log in.
- 3. A site where i can view analytics.
- 4. An area within the website where I can spend my extra Steem or various tokens., essentially have a web-store with various items.
- 5. Image uploader.
