Contest Update: The Best Two Articles From The Contest Entries Is Here

This is to update every follower and every steemean who participated in the writing contest on how to avert wars and how to stop wars within one month in some key countries, mentioned in the original article: https://steemit.com/steemit/@yourhelper/say-no-to-wars-and-conflicts-today-join-yourhelper-to-advance-this-noble-objective that we have come to the end of the contest.

At the moment, we have narrowed down to two best articles. This is not to say that every other article that participated in the contest was not good. Everyone tried considering the nature of the topic under discourse.

The article that came third was written by the same name that won the first position so I have to use my discretion to disqualify it even though he claimed that the second entry was done by his wife.

Hive account@stephenhenkel and Hive account@natasmr, accept my congratulations on your wonderful articulation of the subject matter. I agree with the general opinion that there is no short cut to stopping the raging wars. I also agree with the general feeling that some key power brokers are benefiting from the spoils of war further complicating possible neutral intervention.

I am particularly thrilled by the deep knowledge expressed by Hive account@stephenhenkel who reiterated severally the general cause of war in the middle east which in his opinion is hinged on ideological differences and quest for regional domination by majorly Shia Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia and how their alignment with western influence is fueling the war.

However, I am concerned about the general opinion that we need to kill certain powerful people in the influencing countries to advance world peace which was the major solution advocated by Hive account@stephenhenkel even to the point of calling for a French revolution-like killing.

I have a question for Hive account@stephenhenkel who is obviously the general winner of this contest. If we have to kill people to bring peace would we have generally achieved what we set out to achieve which is to preserve human life?
