Hive account@yourhelper is thinking differently today. I have been thinking of how crazy our world has become with wars and threats of wars ravaging the better part of it. I want to know how we can help the people in war torn zones of the world.

Hive account@yourhelper is concerned that these man-made wars that can be quenched, if there is a will, are being thought of as natural occurrences that should be allowed to run the course of its time by many. How can we allow thousands of people to die everyday over nothing?

From Syria to Afghanistan, Libya to South Sudan, Central African Republic to Yemen, etc innocent people are dying everyday. And we all sit by and do nothing; often times because we think that these events are normal and will sort out itself with time. Now that is not happening!!!

There is nothing normal about wars and carnage. These wars and conflicts are driven by the greedy and selfish interest of a few people to the detriment of many.

Even if we only succeeded in saying a moment of prayer for the people caught up in these conflicts by this action, we would have succeeded in doing something noble.

We are going to use one of the tools which this platform provides to create a fresh awareness about this anomaly. We shall deploy the power of blogging via writing to achieve this noble objective.

Writing Contest

Every willing participant will draw attention of the world to the challenges mentioned above through a writing contest that will throw up winners if possible.

I want everyone interested in this contest to write an article on how wars can be averted ¹ and how war in any of the mentioned countries above can be stopped in one month from today. ²
