I am very addicted to horror movies because I feel like I am also starring on the happening on screen. We feel like we're the protagonist chased and we scream. I love this intense feeling.
When VCD tapes and DVDs were trends, I was very customer to renting movies on Video Planet during summer. Now that Internet excels, I can't spend money anymore to pay films because of Putlocker for free on the Internet. Netflix offers tons of movies where we need to pay monthly but this is cheaper than that money I spent before. I plan to upgrade monthly plan on Netflix. Anyways, below are my all-time favorite horror movies.
Tamara and Carrie 2013
Jenna Dewan is the main cast in Tamara. Her role is a bullied student and witchcraft. She falls in love with her teacher who has a girlfriend already.
Carrie however, Chloë Grace Moretz is the leading character as Carrie White, a bashful and silent student. Just like Tamara, she is bullied too.
Both films give an eye-opener to everybody to avoid bullying especially if we don't know a person. Both are relatable to my personal experience in high school when I was bullied many times silently. In my vengeance, I reported suddenly to the guidance counselor but they continued to do it until I graduated high school.
Moral lesson: Never take bad people a big deal. It produces no good. The main casts in both movies that planted hatred and vengeance 'till death have died and dragged to hell. Vengeance is a crime so what we can do is to kill bad people with kindness.
Leads by Alison Lohman in her role as Christine Brown and a banker, her life turned to hell in just a blink. Because of her ambition, she was cursed to take her soul that the millions of money can't pay. She paid a psychic to help her escape from the curse, but it doesn't succeed. At the climax of the story, Christine Brown is finally dragged to hell.
Moral lesson: We should always help our aged personages and not be self-centered all the times. We should accommodate every people nicely and never judge anyone.
There are no humans involved as antagonists of the movie. It has many series. It's very thrilling when the casts feel premonition.
Moral lesson: No matter what we do if we are destined to that kind of fate, we cannot escape it anymore. It's true that it is us who make our fate, but the promises for us by above will come very soon we can never resist.
Shauna Macdonald as Sarah goes to her friend's cave exploration then they are lost and never know how to go back. The cave is fed up with underworld creatures that eat humans. Only Sarah survived in the last scene, but when she finally sees the above world, a stranger beat her head so she can go back to the cave.
Moral lesson: It's not really good to be curious oftentimes for and wander in an unexplored place.
There are still many horrors and thrilling movies that I love:
Dawn of the Dead
Genesis
Children of the Living Dead
Piranha
Wrong Turn
The Exorcist
The Witch
Girl's House
Cabin in the Woods
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
28 Weeks Later
Martyrs
Saw
Silent Hill
Grudge
