“Cities were always like people, showing their varying personalities to the traveler. Depending on the city and on the traveler, there might begin a mutual love or dislike, friendship, or enmity. Where one city will rise a certain individual to glory, it will destroy another who is not suited to its personality. Only through travel can we know where we belong or not, where we are loved and where we are rejected.”
Aloha steemians, it's been a while since I haven't posted a blog, due to some of the requirements needed in school and of course for the draining final examination but then, after all, I had finally enjoyed my out of town R & R (Rest and Relaxation)!
One of the best thing in Cebu is that the self-effacing island with so many unique natural wonders. Indeed Cebu is like a paradise of numerous facades, it’s no wonder then why so many visitors, local or foreign, fall in love with Cebu, =)
As I am searching some of the tourist spots that Cebu has to offer through google, I searched one of the natural wonders which is the “Tumalog Falls” in Oslob, a municipality 170 kilometers from Cebu City. I was so excited to visit the place because I am really in love to see waterfalls. It was 4 hours travel from Cebu City to municipality of Oslob and as we are eating at the restaurant nearby the town the waitress offers us to rent a motorbike so that we could roam around the place and can go anywhere and anytime, so we decided to rent worth 500, and it is not bad at all, so after we ate and negotiate for the motorbike rental, we immediately begun the journey.
Yeaaah, finally, arrived safe and sound to Tumalog Falls, but of course, you need to walk like 10 minutes to the fascinating falls, it was a really sheer road but you will be amazed to the greenery enchanted way going down, I already felt the mist of the waterfall even at distance. OMG! Witness the beauty of the gauzy curtain of the awe-inspiring falls. It is purely a well-orchestrated melody; the forest-covered waterfall is so gigantic that it covers an entire cliff. Yet the cool, unblemished water falling from the cliff comes in delicate curtains, yeah it is like a wall that covers a curtain, It was really amazing. Never will I regret in falling in love to such a wonderful waterfall over and over again =)
Spending an hour to the enchanted amazing waterfalls is a blast, we drove back to the town and rest so that we could wake up early to witness the whaleshark watching and I am overly excited to experience an amazing adventure.
Anyways thank you so much for reading my blog, see you again to the sequel of my adventure in the town of Oslob =)
