Gornje Bare, Zelengora, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Out of almost 350 places in former Yugoslavia only small Šibenik (1316) and Split (1091) had four-figures number of fighters in those clashes. According to book by Viktor Kučan, out of 1316 partisans from Šibenik area, 535 died in battle and more 250 after it.
This abondoned monument is dedicated to them and is located deep in Zelengora mountain, near Gornje Bare Lake, Bosnia & Herzegovina - near the border with Montenegro.
*We've lost 2/3 of fighters, but you can count on us, like we are in full number
The area is part of Sutjeska National Park, which also includes much more famous (and reachable) monument on Tjentište.
