Hey all! I know I have been missing in action for a couple of days this week. Trust me, it surely was a super busy week for me and it involved a lot of travelling too - literally more than 5000 miles in distance in two days one night, last weekend (mmm, like yesterday?). So, I travelled back home for a friend's wedding and prior to that, I had few class events to host and present at school. It almost felt like a 'field trip day' for me back to Malaysia, but a SPLENDID one. Upon my arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2), I had to get my Uber ride instantly so that I can make it for the wedding event within the window of 2.5 hours (it usually takes one hour to reach home from KLIA 2 without traffic). Not only that, I did my make-up in less than 15 minutes - I sure hope I looked presentable for the wedding event. AND, AND, AND I totally overlooked about the dress - so I just picked something out from my wardrobe that needed some love. :D

Good news, I arrived at the wedding venue 25 minutes early! Phewwww! It was such a lovely event, but I was dead-tired; so I spent hours sitting down - just hibernating like a bear. Some of my friends even assumed that I did not make it for the wedding. I didn't take pictures with many of my dear friends too - but congratulations to the newly weds! Enjoy your honeymoon in Japan! Psssstttt... We also had amazing music performances by our very own and

for recording his fancam performances! :)
I started my Sunday pretty slow, but with a good dose of Malaysian food, I was slightly more alive. All that I can remember after my drop-off at KLIA 2 was just dragging my luggage zombified across the departure hall and into the waiting area. So, I waited and waited, AND then cmjd!!algjb?!EUDHxancjdbhs, my flight got delayed for half an hour. Honestly, it has been quite a long time since I last felt this sort of exhaustion, especially when you are over 2000 miles away from your bed. My plane ride also experienced pretty bad turbulences for about 10 minutes after taking off and before landing. In the midst of all these happenings in a week, I am just reminded of the things that I am truly thankful for, on my plane ride back to Thailand. So, here are #my20things that I am thankful for. :)
1. God's Love and Faithfulness
It was only when I battled through the lowest pits in my life about 7 years ago that I have grown to be more and more convinced of God's love and faithfulness. I have written a snippet of this in my previous post, if you would like to have a quick read. This year, I am challenged in new ways to put my absolute trust in God's promises. I look forward to receiving what the year of 2018 has in store for me. Here is the recent song that I enjoyed the most, mmm, yesterday back home. :D
2. My Loved Ones
My family. My friends. My someonespecial. My churchmates. My colleagues. My connections. I am beyond blessed to have them all in my life. Words are never enough to perfectly describe how much they mean to me, and how much they have done for me. For some, we are as close as the shadows, constantly annoying one another even though we are miles apart. Cheers to more good times together! Till we grow old and senile. :D
3. Good Health
Good health is the combo power of double chin and jelly arms with a contented heart. Enough said.
4. Cheap Flight Tickets
YES, absolutely yes. For the love of travelling, cheap flight tickets are essential. Working abroad, homesick, uh-uh, I need those cheap flight tickets.
5. Amazing Food
DOUBLE YES, absolutely yes for a foodie like me. Street food. Traditional food. Asian food. Snacks. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Supper. Appetizer. Main Course. Desserts. And repeat.
6. Coffee Shops & Cafes
TRIPLE YES, absolutely yes. I guess I enjoy doing cafe-hopping. Breathing in the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Sipping that hot or iced coffee in an exquisite ambience. AH, life.
7. Social Media Platforms & Technology
Facebook. Instagram. Steemit. With these, the world is smaller now. Staying connected isn't difficult now. A quick shoutout to two important families I discovered here on Steemit, #steemitbloggers and #teammalaysia. Thank you for the new friendships!
8. Music
I enjoy listening to jazz music, cover songs and Christian worship songs. I do not have super talents like these amazing artists but I sure do know how to enjoy and appreciate good music. :)
9. Mistakes and Failures
Been there. Done that. Never going back there. Mistakes and failures, to me, are signs of tough love. They exist to teach me how to be a better person, and how to do life the right way with joy and simple pleasures. Looking back now, boy, I was so silly and low in those times.
10. Beauty Products
Beauty products that I enjoy using the most are facial masks and everything else that moisturizes our skin. I am not a big fan of big, bold colours when it comes to make-up. Natural looks are always my faves.
The remaining ten things are pretty much straightforward. So, I guess I will skip the details, and go straight to the last point. :D
11. Shopping Heavens (Malls & Markets)
12. Ability to Give and Support
13. Free Uber Rides
14. Teaching Career
15. Rain, Sunshine and Rainbows
16. Peace of Mind
17. Life Opportunities
18. Second Chances
19. Weekends
20. Good Hair Days
With lots of love, care, and moisturizing hair conditioners, I can now enjoy my good hair days. By the way, I have long, natural wavy hair and I am never going to destroy them with rebonding or hair colouring anymore. With my monthly haircut and more air-drying, it is now easier to maintain my hair condition, pretty effortless.
