Recently, the Department of Defense declassified information from a Pentagon program which looked into the existence of UFOs. The program, called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, was first funded in 2007 by then-Senate leader Harry Reid as a pet project with a small staff and a budget of $22M--a pittance for the Pentagon, which operates on a $600B budget.
Although the program was shut down in 2012, those involved with the program, including Reid and its top officials, have been adamant about its findings and hope it will be taken more seriously in the near future.
In this clip we review some of the declassified footage that was broadcasted on CNN and other networks. What're your thoughts on UFOs? Should we be investing tax dollars in further research by the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program? Let us know in the comments.
