I think that I found the solution.
The picture that Hive account@howtostartablog discovered is encrypted with the Bacon's cipher, after decryption you come up with the word SteemFest which is the answer for the defuse link. In there is a link for a website with the following image

After translating the letters on that image you come up with the word "laser" which I believe is the answer =D Hive account@timsaid
