This is my afternoon road bike ride which led me through Vasona reservoir in Los Gatos. The park has colorful paddle boats that you can rent on the weekends to make your way around the lake.
The ride was 27 miles and 1,900 feet of climbing. It was warm for April at 79*f ! (I'd rather sweat than freeze)
GPS data is from a Garmin Vivoactive HR and uploaded to Strava
Rising from the town of Saratoga is hwy 9 which winds it's way to the top of the mountain range. I went up about 2/3'rds of the way to Redwood Gultch road. It is appropriately named with the large redwoods in the area.
Heading back, I stopped by John D Morgan park for a water break in the shade of the local redwoods.
I actually took this shot near the start of my ride which was in a neighborhood in Campbell. Quite a vivid set of colors with the hot pink and the green plant. Taken with a Galaxy S8 with no filter.
On a side note, the crypto market is still on an ascent and is looking quite bullish.
Happy Monday!
