How can I sleep while the bed is burning?
What about the entire block sitting on it is your precious and decadent house burning into ashes?
Yesterday, I was about the leave the Smart Padala center when I heard the resounding sound echoing in my ear. The deafening sound reverberates inside of it. People were stunned the minute they heard it, they thought it was just a drill or whatever. But horrible the sirens blasting its enormous, powerful howl, commanding you to stay behind and signalling to every passerby to let the fire truck to pass on the road! I thought the fire was a mile away from where I am. But I was dead wrong, it's a 100 to 150 meters away, I couldn't see because I was on the other side of the block, it's along side the E. Rodriguez Ave near Welcome Rotonda where you could see the billowing smoke from the Raging Inferno movie!
In this video (above) was an entirely different scene compared when you are far away from it, look closely how the fire eats up everything in its path! And there was a loud bang inside the house that of course I started to walk away fast together with the people who are watching it right in front of the burning house! The firemen armed with their water cannon started the powerful blast of water into the house! It's a good thing the weather is not windy or there's a strong wind passes by, it would be another story if the wind will add up another problem with its already burning house!
I left the place slow, shivering, dumbfounded. I wonder how many people there lost their belongings, documents, clothing, furniture, etc... I wonder if there's someone charred body toasted thinking how it came to be. Tsk, I haven't heard anything in the news or I read about it in the social media or any other media outlet! That, I think deserves to be in the news!
