I joined #steemit only last Aug.. According to my info 111 days. I already made more than 100 posts excluding the comments. I made a list of all my posts and income earned. I will soon reach my 2nd 100 posts here maybe by tomorrow or Thursday.
I was able to cash out my first $100 and invest. I also was able to make a second cash out via PayPal without fee because I was able to save more than the minimum. With all that I was able to buy gifts for my helpers, my mom, a cousin and even my "suki" taxi drivers (3 of them), tricycle driver, manicurist, and my masseuse. It makes me feel happy I could do that. Also with the help of #Steemit I am able to attend mini reunions and Christmas parties without worry of what to spend, especially transportation since I have to come from the province and the parties are in the city.
The first mini-reunion with a classmate from College, she arrived from the USA her treat but of course I had to spend for my transpo. This was last Dec. 13, 2017
With my High School classmates a reunion and Christmas party. I had to rent a car but I was able to afford it. We had fun, laughter and gifts. Just this last Dec. 17, 2017. Without steemit, I might not have been able to attend of if I did, another project or need would have had to suffer.
I have another on Dec. 23, 2017 so pictures and a post about it will be later. Another college classmate from the USA
I also read about other members in my group: and his girlfriend
have saved to help feed the street children. Our mentor
was able to pay bills and even send to her family in the province,
was able to have money when she had to bring her son to the emergency room without borrowing from others,
said she was able to pay off some debts and start saving, Another
said she was able to save in coins.ph because of steemit and was able to send money to the Philippines (she is an OFW) without much hassle and low fee.
These are just few who have gained much from being on Steemit. People who were not able to save, who had no extra money and those in debt, they were all able to do something about it by being here on steemit.
I was invited earlier but was also in doubt at first. After reading some success stories, I decided to try it. It took only 3 days and I was accepted. My first few stories or blogs were not that good. Even my mentor and friend who invited me made me cry hahah but if he hadn't, I might not have reached this far: 111days, 57.8 reputation and a good SP value. I also made lots of friends both foreigners and Filipinos.
Being on Steemit I met whales like ,
,
,
, and
. There are much more but can't remember them all heheh. Also the
and
.
I also learned a little about the sbd, coins, bitcoins and steem power. Still learning but I will get to it. I learned about the differences of #minnows, #dolphins, and #whales. Makes me strive to be a whale someday and with the encouragement of , I might. Even if not personally but I was able to video chat with
and chat with
.
Also blogging and writing is a means where I can let it out. Express myself and also my way to relax. I can also learn about the different places in the Philippines and abroad. The different cultures and and traditions. I can also share my knowledge and place.
Thank you Steemit, my Christmas is Merry and I am able to buy gifts for everyone on my list. I also have extra for our noche buena. I have no regrets joining because I learned a lot and gained a lot too, friends, knowledge and financially.
A MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE HERE ON STEEMIT
Pictures are all mine
