Before I share this article, I would like to say that my religion was Roman Catholic before I embraced Islam as my new religion. I am also a dog lover before and we had almost ten dogs including the puppies.
I am explaining this because I am already a Muslim, Islam forbids Muslim to keep a dog. Islam gives permission to keep dogs for certain purposes, such as hunting, guarding livestock and protecting crops, but keeping a dog as a pet, always in the house is considered as haram (not permitted).

I would like to share how our pet Tootsie, a Miniature Pinscher dog breed delivered her puppies via C-section.
Miniature Pinscher is a small breed kind of dog. We planned for her pregnancy, and we looked for a matched mate for her. The dog mate must be a same breed or a small kind of breed also because if the mate is big, her puppies will become big also and that will cause a birth delivery problem of the puppies. It will be difficult for the mini pin to deliver normal if the puppies are big.

On September 18, 2007, around 12:30 am... Tootsie was in labor for several hours and had difficulties with natural birth. We are so pity of her that's why we decided to bring her to Animal hospital.
I drove fast because my mom was so worried with our pet and puppies' lives inside the womb. Not all animal clinics, performs Caesarean, We brought her in Animal hospital, which was referred to us by Tootsie's Veterinarian in Fairview, Quezon City.
The hospital is open 24-hours a day, but when we reached there, the hospital is closed. We were so worried, we do not know any clinic nearby opens 24-hours. We got the contact numbers posts outside the hospital
I called the number and I spoke with the doctor, I asked him If we can bring in our dog because about to give birth soon. The doctor said that they were closed at the moment, but I insist to let us in because it was said that the hospital is open 24-hours and we pleased them for the sake of the dog and puppies' lives.
The doctor accepted Tootsie, when we get in the clinic... We saw empty bottles of beers on the tables, seems they had drunk lots of beers. Another doctor and two nurses just woke up and looks a bit drunk. I guess they closed the hospital for a while because they got drunk and we were worried they cannot perform the surgery well because of that.

They prepared the operation room and x-ray was done to confirm the number of puppies. X-ray is also a useful tool to check all the pups have been born after whelping.

I watched and recorded through my phone the caesarean operation. I watched it because I want to see how surgery is being done because I gave birth to my two kids via Caesarian also.

Tootsie whelped a two healthy puppies. She cannot breastfeed yet, the puppies were given a formula milk. She was admitted in the hospital for two days.

The Hospital total bill, including formula milk was Eight Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty Pesos, that was a decade ago and maybe now more costly.
Most dogs recover faster from the C - section procedure... but if the dog suffers from labor for several hours before the surgery, they will need more extra attention and care.

I realized that animals need extra care and attention as like as human too.
