Being a good Leader requires absolute or almost absolute integrity in every situation you find yourself. Don't give an instruction, to your subordinates; you know you can't follow/obey if the tables were turned.
Inspire others
Let your subordinates see you as a leader worthy of being emulated; let them see a role model in you. They should always want to follow in your foot step. If you will be just to one as touching a matter, then be just to others when they find themselves in the same matter as the former. If you will be unjust to one as touching a matter, then be unjust to others when they find themselves in the same situation.
Don't be Bias
Never be bias in your relation to your followers, or else, rebellion may spring up. I know there's a place of special favor, but let it be justifiable.
Build a Relationship
Relate with your followers like they're part of your family, they'll give you their best and want to go miles with/for you. Make your team a big happy family. Whenever you need to be strict, be strict, but don't let your subordinates see you as a difficult person to approach. Once in awhile, remember the place of mercy when it comes to giving judgment.
They Need Encouragement
Encourage your followers to become better in all they do and to aspire for greatness; they'll always worship and praise you for this. It's called leadership by guardianship. Most importantly, always remember that they won't be following you all their lives. So, make sure whenever they leave you, they've become a better person, and can be called worthy leaders wherever they go.
They'll always recommend you in great places.
