Here are the steps in creating a new book of account for your company:
Step 1: Double click on sage 50 accounting on the desktop window.
Step 2: Click on file menu and select new company.
Step 3: Click on next.
Step 4: Enter the company's name, example; EAGLES CEMENT DISTRIBUTION DEPORT. (all in capital letters).
Step 5: Enter business type of your choice, example; Limited Liability Company.
Step 6: Click on next.
Step 7: The first choice is used by most companies so click on next.
Step 8: Select a business type depending on the company.
Step 9: Choose accruals and click next.
Step 10: Click the real time and next.
Step 11: Click next then finish.
