Recently, I attended Recycling Program in SK Taman Midah in Cheras and I was deeply inspired by recycled projects made by students with learning difficulties like autism, ADHD and slow learners.
Common recycled material used by students in making recycled projects
• Plastics/Bottles. - Any plastic bottles or containers like drinking water bottles or cups.
• Paper and Cardboard. – Cereal or snack boxes, toilet rolls.
• Cans– Tin and Aluminium.
However, some materials are not allowed to use in making recycling projects like plastic shopping bags, Polystyrene Foam cups or containers. Usage of these material will be deducted from the points of reward.
DIY tractor bucket
The champion of these projects was a DIY tractor bucket. It was mainly made up of syringes, cardboard and tin. The direction of the tractor bucket can be controlled simply by pressing and releasing syringes. It’s such an amazing handwork.
