A 75-year-old lady enters a self-service restaurant, grabs a bowl and asks the cook to serve her soup. Then he looks for a table to sit on, and as soon as he does, he realizes that he forgot to take bread. Then he gets up and goes for him, but when he returns to his place he finds in front of his plate a man who, without flinching, ate quietly.
"This is the last straw," the woman thinks, "but I will not let myself steal my soup!"
Outraged, she sits next to the man, breaks the bread into pieces, puts them in the bowl in front of the man, and places her spoon on the plate. The man smiles and gives him his soup. The man gets up, goes to the bar and returns with an abundant plate of pasta, two plates and two forks. The two eat without talking. When they finish, the man says goodbye to the woman. "Hasta la vista!" He says. He seems satisfied with having done a good deed on that day.
The woman follows him with the look; then he searches with his hand for his purse that he had hung on the back of the chair, but he can not find it. Think that the man has taken it and is almost going to shout "catch that thief!" ... when suddenly looks at his wallet hanging two tables back, and on the table a tray with a bowl of soup and cold ...
"What horror!" He thought. "It was not the man who took my soup, but I who ate at his expense!"
