There are many figures that are admirable, but one that has always inspired me has been Walt Disney, is one of the best known people in the world, obviously because we have all seen at least one movie of his creation, but behind all that success, it is a story of effort, defeats and many adversities.
He was a man who believed in himself and his ideas, he was a dreamer who turned his fantasy into reality, and when he did, he made the whole world dream. Disney was an American cartoonist. Who does not remember any of his films Mickey mouse, sleeping beauty, Donald Duck, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Snow White and the seven dwarves and a host of other titles? Disney perfected the technique of the cartoon almost to the limit of its possibilities, taking the drawing of the paper to the big screen, the cinema.
In 1920 he had his first failure, he even had to close his own company, but this did not stop him. Then with his brother, he founded the company "Disney Brothers" which was another failure. He had 2 daughters, and one of them died. According to the story, in a moment of despair, Disney remembered Mortimer, a little mouse from his office and decided to turn it into an incorruptible, obstinate and moving animated character: the mouse Mortimer. When he arrived at his house, he told his wife, but she did not like that name and put "Mickey Mouse." His partner and cartoonist Ube Iwerks gave him the profile and the smile, and Disney gave him his own voice and thus the first link of his mythology was created, a little mouse whose fame would equal the great artists of that time Charly Chaplin and Rodolfo Valentino .
To me one of his most inspiring phrases is:
This is really inspiring, because it teaches us as human beings, that if we want to achieve something in our life, we must fight for that, we must help our children reach their goals, motivate them, and always teach them to persevere in their dreams, like this great example of a simple and humble man who followed his dreams and had the conviction and courage to do things using his creativity to turn them into reality.
