Learning to Read Digital Scales to Measure Weights
In this quick activity we will learn how to read the digital scale when we weigh the objects using these scales.
Every household often have a weighing scale, we use these very often to measure our body weight. Following is a small activity to introduce these scales to 3rd grade math students. Kids should be able to read the numbers on the scales but care is needed while writing the units of the measured weight.
Each measurement should have its unit and that unit is showed in the scale screen, whether it is gram of kilogram. Students need to note this unit with their answer.
