I very well know that the campaign for the education of the 'girl child' has been on for sometime now and little progress has been made especially here in Africa.
I want to lay emphasis looking at the fact that the African society is the way it is because of the negligence given to the 'girl child' education.
Take a look at the society today! It is pretty clear to everyone that the 'girl child' stands at the forefront of the next generation.
Yes! It is fact. I am not basing this on reproduction because offcourse the girl child cannot grow up and reproduce all by herself but rather I am talking about the future of next generations...the wellbeing mentally, the growing up with rich minds and even proper care. The 'boy child' has a vital role to play too but the 'girl child' has work to do if the 'boy child' will have a meaningful future in the first place!
I am trying to make you see that the 'girl child' naturally becomes the woman. The woman closest to the 'boy child' and 'girl child' who are the next generation I am talking about. The woman closest to this infant generation. The woman that builds them for the society to noture and provide finishing touches! The woman that this generation feeds directly from as they build, producing the generation who will build.
Imagine a building with a rusty foundation. A build that is not properly built due to lack of know-how and ignorance. Think of how many will suffer when the building collapses. How many 'boy child' and 'girl child' will not be given the opportunity to build their generation.
If you have been following, you will see that even the last of 'girl child' has to be thought how to build by those who were somehow well built by the privileged 'girl child'.
The 'girl child' needs to know how to build. She needs to be educated! She needs to know the responsibility on her shoulders.
Be the one to start the education of that 'girl child' today.
I want to use this medium to appreciate and supporters of family protection for their work so far!
Cheers!
